Pearl is the product of a mating to a dog we have long admired as a worthy competitor. "Jet," as he is affectionately known, symbolizes for us the quintessential "gun dog." His beauty, kind and easy going personality, combined with his intelligence and bird drive, made him a great choice as a mate for the very driven, sparkle dominated Kiki. It is a combination that bears repeating, but for now, we have a little gem of a dog we call Pearl, who has been added to the Wild Mtn rosters. Pearl is just beginning her journey, but she is getting started on the right foot so far, already showing she has what it takes to be a stand out in the crowd.

Fall 2011
Since Pearl garnered her puppy points easily at just nine months of age, earlier in Spring 2011, she spent the Fall season growing up. Not quite mature enough for Derby and too old for Puppy stakes competition, she only ran in a few Derby stakes. She did, however, keep fit and enjoyed rooting her fellow kennel mates on from the chain gang. Her only placement for the fall of 2011 was:
Buckeye Brittany Club - 4th Place - Open Derby.
