ABOUT US
| June 2004 began the union of Helen and Brian Riggle ( formerly, BDR Kennels in South East Texas). May 28, 2005 we celebrated this union by exchanging wedding vows and combined our kennels into one big happy family. |
|
| In late August of 2006, we moved from Nevada to the very southwestern corner of Pennsylvania to what we now call Wild Mtn Farm . The big old farm house was originally built in 1890 by Brian's great grandfather and has been in the Riggle family for 4 generations. Situated on 110 acres of lush countryside, it is perfect for training companion and competition gun dogs alike. |

|
The Farmhouse plays center stage for our gun dog training facility like no other that we know of. Services offered at Wild Mtn Farm include companion hunt training for dogs of all levels and of course campaining the competition AKC Field Trial and AKC Hunt Test dogs. |
Owners are encouraged to visit as often as possible while their dogs are in here in training with us. Come stay the night or plan to stay for a week and get the opportunity to work side by side with Brian, as he puts the foundation work or final finishing touches on your gun dog. Home cooked meals and old fashioned appalachian country hospitality are our trademark !
Brian of course, loves molding and shaping GREAT Gun Dogs and Hunting companions for anyone wishing to share their lives with a pointing breed sog. While we specialize in the Brittany, any breed used for upland game will be welcome on the Wild Mtn Farm.
